Q. What areas do Guttercare service & cover?
A. We provide services to Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Poulton-le-Fylde, Over Wyre, Pilling, Kirkham, Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Southport, Garstang, Lancaster, Heysham, Morecambe, Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Barrow-in-Furness and all surrounding towns & villages.

Q. Do you carry out repairs on existing gutters?
A. We are able to carry out repairs on all types of guttering.

Q. Why is it important to clean out your guttering?
A. Clogged gutters can wreak havoc with the natural drainage of water away from the walls & roof of your property. The can result in damaged fascias, soffits, exterior paintwork & woodwork. Additionally, water damage can ruin the very foundations of your property.

Q. How will I know if my gutters need cleaning?
A. Guttering will not work properly if it is clogged up. You will be able to tell if your getters are obstructed if water is coming over the top if water constantly dripping or leaking from the gutters when its raining or rained recently.

Q. Do you clean gutters for houses, commercial & industrial properties?
A. Yes, we can clean or repair gutters for residential properties, local authorities, maintenance companies and also for domestic customers. We specialize in cleaning gutters for schools, hospitals, hotels, churches, shops, retail, offices, commercial & industrial units.

Q. What methods of gutter cleaning is best?
A. The best method in our opinion is by hand, using brushed and sponges etc. Access to the gutter is usually via ladder, scaffold or cherry picker dependent on the size of the property or building.

Q. How do I maintain my aluminium guttering?
A. Aluminium gutters are mostly maintenance free, however, you may still need to clean them out just like any other guttering.

Q. Are all gutters continuous without any joints?
A. The longest run can be 50 metres, beyond that we have to join them using our specially designed strips to allow for the expansion and contractions of materials.

Q. How does it go round a corner?
A. There are specially adapted corner sections available.

Q. Do you remove the old guttering, fascias and soffits?
A. Yes, we always remove the old bargeboards, fascias and soffits before installing your new systems.

Q. Do you just install cladding or guttering on their own?
A. Cladding & Guttering systems are available on its own without purchasing any other products.

Q. Can you install fascias or soffits on their own?
A. Unfortunately, we do not install these items individually, we always install these two products together.

Q. How long are your roofline products guaranteed for?
A. All roofline products

Q. Will scaffolding be required to go around our home during the installation?
A. One of our installation directors will assess whether scaffolding is required, we will organise this to ensure that we comply fully with HS Regulations.
